Ronnie Ramos (Ramon)

Ronnie Ramos just recently finished playing a dual role of Butler and Brother in the Woodminster Production of the Broadway musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”  Before then, he played one of the three Magi in the "Star" musical, an on-stage production about the life of Jesus Christ.   Ronnie also has an extensive background of choral singing.  His humble beginnings started as a choir member at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in San Leandro where he is now a cantor.  His previous involvements include singing with the Alameda Naval Choir and Thy Word Ministry under the musical direction of Eddie Del Rosario.  He is also a member of the Lucy Kinchen Chorale, a group dedicated to sharing its music in order to help various community causes.  As a soloist, he was one of the opening acts for “Harmony – A Concert For A Cause” benefiting two parishes in San Leandro .  In gratitude for his many blessings, Ronnie feels that it is only fitting to give back to God and to the community the talents that has been bestowed upon him.  He is very excited to play the role of Ella’s father in Amerikana and proud to be a part of a project benefiting his home parish.  Ronnie would like to thank everyone who has supported his musical endeavors, especially his wife and kids for putting up with him and his crazy schedule, and above all, the Lord for all of his blessings.
